Sleeping bags & pillows are highly recommended (we do not supply linen). We also recommend bringing personal items such as sunscreen, insect repellent, food and beverages, towels and any specific recreational equipment you'd like to use.

The canoe is included with your stay. Remember to pack light as you'll need to transport your items via canoe from the dock to your Lilypod

The supplied water filter, Katadyn 6l, removes 99.9999% of bacteria and protozoa. It can supply all of your drinking and cleaning needs.

To fill, simple remove the quick release tube (to prevent it from touching the lake water) and open and fill the bag. Reattach the tube to the quick release and you are good to go.

Absolutely. Your pod is anchored in 5-8 feet of water, and a canoe is always provided for your access. For peace of mind, we supply life jackets for all guests. The pods themselves are engineered for exceptional stability, meeting all safety standards; they don't tip or rock excessively. It's the same principle as the thousands of houseboats people live on worldwide, just on a smaller, more intimate scale.

Yes! Families love the Lilypods experience. The pods are very stable and feature secure railings around all decks. We provide life jackets in multiple sizes and recommend children wear them when on deck or in the canoe.

Parents are responsible for supervising their children at all times. Please note that the lilypods sit in 5 to 8 feet of water and are accessible by canoe. Children should therefore be comfortable in and around water. We are happy to discuss any specific safety concerns prior to your booking.

Very. Pods are spaced for maximum privacy. You'll see other pods but won't see the neighbors unless they are canoing. Your own section of lake, your own peace.

We open may 24 weekend and close down at the end of september.

Check in is 2pm, check out is 10am.

We supply one queen bed in a private room. There is a secondary bed if you convert the dinette but is is not large, more suitable for children or a single adult. The lilypod, like most boats, are not spacious (we prefer the term cozy!). 2 adult couples could enjoy themselves but our space would be limited.

Yes! The bedroom, dinette area, and bathroom all have lights. There is also ambient lighting on various posts around the Lilypod.
